When i import a map to my dashboard it loses some of the details

Morning all,
Hoping you can help me with this, when I create a map and I then move it into a dashboard I lose a lot of the detail when I zoom in, see screen shots.

I need to be able to get the full details of the map when i zoom in.

But may be you could try to reproduce the problem in a more recent version? I'm not saying to upgrade your existing cluster. That way we could know where to search...

At least, on my side, I don't see any issue.

Ok. So I don't see what the issue can be.
I think that to fix your issue, there's no other way than upgrading.

  • Can you confirm if you are on an Elastic Basic license or higher?
  • Are there any errors in your browser's developer console or network tab?

i have a Platinum licence, i can only use this version 7.6.1 can't update to anything higher

Great. I'd ask the support team then. But I guess they will tell you the same thing.

It would be good to open a support ticket so we can get more concrete details that are not possible to share here on a public forum (e.g., a HAR file of a complete dashboard load).

Mind that this is an unsupported version, but I think we can at least spend a bit of time from the support channel trying to understand why this is happening.
