Which security index do I keep?

which .security index does the elastic stack use in 6.5?
I have some that may be old legacy ones. Is there a way to see which is the main one?
for example, I have .security-6 and .security

If .security is the main one, can I delete .security-6 without issue?

The simple answer is just don't mess with it.
It's all handled internally and you don't need to do any maintenance on it.

The longer answer is that .security is an alias to .security-6. If you remove either of them you will break security.
