Why are Normalizers Experimental?

Hi,

Why are Normalizers marked as Experimental in 5.2? It's a pretty awesome/simple feature. Not sure what can potentially can change or cause their removal. Any hints are appreciated.

The docs state;

This functionality is experimental and may be changed or removed completely in a future release. Elastic will take a best effort approach to fix any issues, but experimental features are not subject to the support SLA of official GA features.

We tend to change things in experimental features faster and with more disruption than core features.
