X-pack on ElasticSearch and Kibana

Hello,

We are evaluating the options to enable X-pack. One of the questions we have now is that, if we only enable x-pack on elasticssearch and Kibana, would it impact the communication between Logstash and elasticsearch and Kibana? Currently, we have elasticsearch on one node, logstash and kibana on another node. This is PoC for now, but we will be using the similar infrastructure to production if it goes fine. Also, if needed, we can separate logstash from Kibana.

Any inputs would be highly appreciated

Generally the only way it will change is if security is enabled in ES/Kibana, and you'd just need to add the appropriate config to your logstash config file (ES username/password).
