X-Pack Role Kibana-User (Permissions in Advanced Settings)

Hello,

I'm using Stack 5.2.2 (ELK) with the X-Pack.

We have verified that all normal users (with kibana-user privilege) have full privileges in the "Management / Advanced Settings" session.

This role has the following permissions:

Cluster Privileges:
monitor

Index Privileges
Indices: .kibana *
Privileges: manage, read, index, delete

This role does not allow changes.

How do I restrict the permissions of normal users so they can not change the advanced settings?

A couple of questions on this issue:

  1. What license are you using?
  2. By "advanced settings" do you mean the Kibana Advanced Settings page that looks like this?
