5.4.1 is DOA

Hi,
I upgraded my lab system once again from 5.4.0 to 5.4.1.
It feels like I have done this 10 times the last 3 months....
As usual, the upgrade was smooth and successful, but when restarting the system, elasticsearch is not listening to port 9200 anymore.
I checked the log file, but it's empty.
When I run elastic search from the command line:
/usr/share/elasticsearch/bin/elasticsearch -v
it's completely quiet. Nothing is displayed, no listening on the 9200 port or nothing.
It''s completely DOA.

How is it possible to debug anything then it doesn't even display any errors or anything?

Sorry for quick post.
I found out the upgrade changed the permissions on all elasticsearch folders, so it was a permissions problem.
But still, no log, nothing. I'm just glad this wasn't my production cluster.

How did you install and how did you upgrade?

I use the rpm's and did a rpm -uvh to upgrade.
