I've raised the issue with the team several times and they have confirmed that the ASN is allowed on our side each time. We don't block on an individual IP level. @mfridrikhson was following up with a similar issue as they were seeing blocks on non-Elastic URLs too, and I'm not sure if he got a resolution.
The only other potential issue I can think of is if you have IPv6 enabled despite using an IPv4 host as IPv6 is not strictly supported. Can you check that?
If not feel free to supply a trace and the response from Hertzner that you have received and I can follow up again.
Hi @carly.richmond.
We are again receiving complaints from our customers regarding the inaccessibility of your resources from our subnet 95.47.238.1/23.
Could you check the blocking on your side again?
Thank you.
Thanks for getting back in touch. I've checked the ASN that the subnet belongs to and it is explicitly allowed on our side. When we last checked this range in January we say many accepted requests and no dropped requests. Do you have any customer traces confirming dropped requests?
I would recommend checking that the requests are being made via IPv4, and that IPv6 is not enabled, as that has caused issues for others in the past.
