Change expected date format for Kibana dashboard add/edit filter dialogue with date field and range operator

Hello,

i'm using Kibana 8.2,

is it possible to change the date format that Kibana expects within the add/edit filter dialogue within a dashboard for a date field using a range operator? The default expects MM.DD.YYYY, but i want to change it to the DD.MM.YYYY format.

Typing 1.15.22 is recognized, but it should not be accepted and 15.1.22 is marked as wrong input even though it should be accepted and recognized as Jan 15th.
