I have 8.5.3 and control is messed up there as well. it has white background and light color font, hard to see anything.
it is fixed in next version, but I am not ready to upgrade .
It seems control viz is not good enough yet. I will wait for few more version I guess
@elasticforme Can you please send a screenshot of what your controls look like in 8.5.3, including what browser you are using? I tried version 8.5.3 in Chrome and everything worked as expected in both light and dark mode:
New control works fine.
old control had a bug. I went and remove that old and place new.
new control though has limit of 10 value. which I don't like. I would like to see more sometime in 100s which is not option at this time.
We added the ability to view more available options to the new controls in version 8.7 - hopefully that will help with your use case! The old controls are in the process of being deprecated, and so we won't be prioritizing fixes and/or features for them
