1st the Size of the Node / Cluster is Independent of the Data Transfer costs... you could have a little cluster / node with a lot of data transfer or a Big node / cluster with little data transfer ... the charges are independent.
So the size / type of the node or cluster has no effect on the Data Transfer Charges.
Lets take a quick look...
If you are using GCP US East example
| Product | Standard | Gold | Platinum | Enterprise | Unit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| gcp.data-transfer-in | $0.00 | $0.00 | $0.00 | $0.00 | GB |
| gcp.data-transfer-inter-node | $0.016 | $0.016 | $0.016 | $0.016 | GB |
| gcp.data-transfer-out | $0.032 | $0.032 | $0.032 | $0.032 | GB |
48GB / Day * 30 Days = 1,440 GB / month
1,440 GB / month * $0.32 / GB = ~$46 / Month
So that looks about right...
2GB an Hour in Dashboards sounds like a lot ... but if that is what you are measuring.
OTOH there is probably compression so it may be less than that
Ohh and Thanks for Choosing Elastic Cloud!
