Customize chart fields

Hello everybody

I have a small problem that I encounter on most of my graphs.

I would like to display the field name + its value in the captions.
There is currently only the value and it is not too telling.

Is it possible to do it?

Hey! Can you give us more details? Which chart are you using and which kibana version?
Can you also provide a screenshot? With captions you mean the chart legend?

Yes the legend of the graph which is displayed either on the graph itself or next to the graph. And I would like field name + its value.

My kibana version is 7.16.3

In the pie chart the values are depicted inside the chart. So for example check here
You can see both the field and the value (here in percentage but you can switch it to the value)

We don't display it in the legend but I think that the value inside the chart gives the information you want.

What I want in addition in the graph is to add the name of the field in addition to its value. But in your example the values ​​of your field are "Kibana Airlines", etc.

Now I see! This is not possible atm for the pie charts. Do you want to issue a feature request here and we will take it from there. :slight_smile:
