Data Table Visualizations - Suppress Descriptors in Column Names

I wonder if someone can suggest a way to get around an annoying characteristic of DATA TABLE visualizations.

I am reporting some SIBLING PIPELINE AGGREGATIONS in my tables - averages, maxes and mins. I am hoping to establish clear, tight tables by assigning a concise CUSTOM LABEL to each column. But my concise labels are being pre-pended with extra words!

For example, I want to show the column heading "Avg" over a column of averages, but Kibana insists on displaying the column with the header "Overall Average of Avg".

Is there a way to override this behavior and customize my column headings?

There is no way to change it right now, Feel free to open an enhancement request in the Kibana repo.
