Delete unnecessary filtered fields from index in kibana Dashboard Discovery tab

hi,

I have created index in Kibana dashboard, it has by default almost 159 filtered fields, as per my requirement we are really care about 30-40 fields remaining fields are useless to me, how to delete or hide those fields from discovery filtered tab.

most of the fields may starts with some common name, please suggest me how to hide them, thanks.

Ex: event.msg.com.something.else...

You currently cannot hide fields from that list. You can also check this issue: https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/17270
