Hi,
I have created SPACES and put teams in those spaces. In order for them to be able to create dashboards I had to allow ALL for Dashboards and ALL for Visualizations. The problem is that one member can delete or alter another's viz or dashboard. If I switch to READ on any of these two then they can't create. Am I missing something or is this just the way it is?

That’s just the way it is today. You can grant privileges at the space level, but you can’t grant privileges to specific objects within that space. What you are looking for is what we call “Object Level Security”, you can read more about here: https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/39259
