Different chart types same plot

I have documents in elastic with date field. I need to display two charts on same plot. First one is vertical bar chart and second one should be graph chart

The only option I find is to use area chart - on above example there are two charts on same plot. How can I achieve this goal? My Kibana version is 5.3.0

Not sure exactly when this feature was in 5.3.0, but you should be able to click on "Metrics & Axes" on the visualization and select the types of graphs you want there:
