Is it okay to run Logstash with version(7.13.0) different from our Elasticsearch version(7.10.2)?
All the informations you need are here https://www.elastic.co/fr/support/matrix#matrix_compatibility.
Thank you for your reply, Cad !
Then is there any way to downgrade Logstash ?
I have to do that in ubuntu 18.04 but I couldn't find the exact way
I think just install an old version downgrade it.
In ubuntu you can specify the version you want to install like this :
sudo apt-get install logstash=7.13.0
I already did that but
>> apt-get install logstash=7.10.2 Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done E: Version '7.10.2' for 'logstash' was not found
this message appear ..
It is possible to download the archive.
Here the version you want.
