Elastalert plugin in ELK 7.9.0

Hi people, I have an ELK 7.9.0 / Debian 10 cluster running OK.

I wanna test Elastalert plugin in order to set alert rules and get feedback by email.

Is it possible to put to work Elastalert for this ELK 7.9.0 version? Because I used the elastalert Debian stable package but I had some error and it doesn't work.

If there is another open source alerting plugin, please let me know.

Hi there! We can't really help with third-party plug-ins on this forum, but I'd recommend looking at Kibana Alerts & Actions or of course the well battle-tested Elastic Watcher.
