Elasticsearch behind NAT

Hi Everybody,

I already installed the elasticserach but behind the NAT, i'm using google cloud
I wanna configuration elasticserach can access from external network, using 0.0.0.0 but always failed to connect

when Iam using VM not behind NAT, all worked good with the same config in google cloud
so how to for elaticserach will access external network in behind nat
my Elasticsearch using private network, but NAT with ip public in google cloud.
Please help

Hi @rudyawall

Its not a good idea to do that, there are robots that scanning for externally accessible applications.

at least Configure a VPN to connect your VPC, or whitelist your home/work ip address to access your cloud apps
