I apologize for the inconvenience. This is a known issue.

You can work around it by manually installing OpenSSL 1.0.2 on the server. This requirement should be enforced in the next release of Curator.

I'd rather wait for the next release
yum downgrade elasticsearch-curator-5.2.0-1.x86_64
