ElasticSearch Upgrade Missing Index Data

Hello,

I followed the Upgrade steps mentioned in the document:

I have migrated from v5.2.2 to v6.1.1.
One of my indices in v5.2.2 was of size 1TB with 1 replica.
After completing the upgrade procedure, I cannot find the data in that index. The replica shards are also missing. All the documents are absent from the index.

Can you tell me what could be the reason.
No errors are shown in log files except for warning:
[[INDEXNAME]] can not be imported as a dangling index, as index with same name already exists in cluster metadata
