Email alerts on kibana dashboard

Is it possible to implement email alerts on community edition.
Kindly, suggest .

Email connectors are available with a commercial license.

You can have alerts in the basic version which either write something in Kibana logs or in an Elasticsearch index.
You could imagine running a script of your own which reads the index for example and if there's new content, send it using sendmail for example.

Of course, with the commercial license, that's easier and you don't have to monitor your service.

Note that if you are running on elastic cloud, alerts by e-mail are available so it's even easier.
