ES|QL Visualizations: Filtering

Hello,
I created a nice ES|QL visualization, nothing crazy, its just grouping by version number found in the raw data.

I wanted to filter on one of the version numbers to apply to the whole dashboard but it doesn't let me, is this a limitation of ES|QL?

Clicking on the above +, doesn't work.
