ES SQL against index pattern

Hi, one of my ES SQL in a Canvas workpad runs against an index pattern(i.e. some-index-name* ) which cannot be found in the dropdown list of Kibana Discover's dropdown list. Could this be a permission issue in Kibana?

I do see indices with names matching the above pattern, e.g. some-index-name-2022.01.02-000123

Is not an error, is the fact that in Kibana we are not using anymore index pattern strings, but you have to create a Data View in the "Stack Management" -> Kibana Data View
Here you can add your index pattern string and create a Data View that is what Discover/Dashboard/Lens use to display/aggregate data
