Index pattern link is not available at Kibana

I have installed kibana at my Windows 11 WSL. Index pattern is not coming under stack management --> kibana --> index pattern
Accordingly, when creating an index using logstash or filebeat I cannot find any data at Discover and there is no index pattern for the index seen at Index management. I have disabled the security both login and SSL, is this related somehow?

In 8.x index Patterns we're renamed Data Views ... is that there?

Is it the only feature missing?

Index Pattern / Data Views work with no security.

Thanks a lot. I have create a new "Data View" and it is shown now at Discover
