Hi,
I have an index in kibana and I want to visualize the data in it. for this purpose whenever I create an index pattern, I'm no no longer able to either find index pattern under management/index patterns nor I can discover data. Rather it asks me to set default index everytime. when I query .kibana index I can find my index pattern. I have also tried to set the defaultIndex field under Settings/Avanced but still whenever I set a value and refresh the page, defaultIndex gets set to Null.. Kinldy help me on this. I'm a beginner on ES. and badly stuck here.
