Failed to watch files

I am getting this(attached) error while setting up kibana.
-left terminal running elastic search
-right terminal server
-using the specified node version 8.9.4

I tried on my local env with node version 8.9.4 and yarn v 1.3.2 and didn't encounter the problem you stated. Probably delete the node_modules directory and restart it. Report back if u hit this issue again. We can debug further.
