Formatting PDF Export for Large Dashboards/Reports

Hi,

We have a really large dashboard with around 100 visualisations that a client wants to be able to print out.

Currently, the export PDF either results in

a) 1 really large page that you can not print

b) when selecting ‘for printing’ I get a really clunkily formatted PDF that has maybe 1 or 2 visualisations per page that have all been stretched or some simply cut off

Is anyone able to recommend potentially fixes within Kibana or if you have also experienced this any alterative routes you took to resolve this issue?

Welcome to the community

I believe this could be possible via canvas where you place views on pages like PPT & pdf generated will have all the pages.

I am not suggesting this but I was able to download into multiple pages using a chrome extension which takes screenshot of full page & automatically divides into pages.

Hey @Tortoise thanks for responding.

I did look at Canvas but was struggling to apply global filters across the whole canvas from a single control on the first page.

Would you be able to share the extension you used? this could be a good stop gap

Okay. I had used GoFullPage (Full Page Screen Capture) extension & when you save it as a pdf it automatically paginates the file.
