Getting "1 of 2 shards failed"

When i opened the dashboard on kibana, I am getting

1 of 2 shards failed
The data you are seeing might be incomplete or wrong.

not sure what that can be from the info provided.

Are your elasticsearch clusters running? Do the individual visualizations on the dashboard run separately, or do they also crash with the same message?

Elasticsearch is running and cluster is healthy.

Also visualization are not working, I am getting two error

  1. [esaggs] > "field" is a required parameter
  2. Saved "field" parameter is now invalid. Please select a new field.
