Getting Version Numbers In Sync Across Elastic Products

I thought that maybe I read an email about a month ago from elastic on the topic of elastic wanting to get all elastic products using the same version numbers. Example Elasticsearch v2.5, Logstash v2.5, and Kibana v2.5

Did I imagine this? If this is going to happen what will the first version number that will be standard across all elastic products?

Version numbers will be coordinated from the next major version, which will be 5.0 as Kibana is already on 4.x.
