How to toggle visibility of lines from line chart

Apologies in advance - I suspect this is just a n00b question

I have an issue whereby I would like to filter out some lines on graphs in my visualisations... I see this issue was pretty much previously raised here:

If there are multiple lines in the same line charts, the colors are not a good way to distinguish the different lines. Sometimes the lines may be overlapping and it might be hard to see what line is which one since the mouse focus point is jumping if lines are close each others. In these kind of cases the color picker does not bring any value. Please consider implement a way to change or remove the line color picker from line chart legend and replace it with a possibility of clicking the line…

However, when I click on the value in the legend I seem to just get the option to change the color of my line (i.e. a color palette appears)... I don't seem to be able to get the magnifying glass or how to filter out the lines

This is definitely a bug in the later versions of Kibana. I'm currently tracking down what version it got misplaced in. You can follow the issue here: https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/28176
