Index and metadata backup in HDFS and restore

Hi,

I am seeking experts advice to achieve backup and restore process.

We are using Elastic as our core storage for log analytics. Now, we would like to backup our indexes into HDFS on regular/incremental way. Also want to restore our indexes from hdfs in-case of Elastic cluster failure.

Please suggest me the best way to achieve this. We would like to restore indexes in fast and efficient way.
