Index created via python not seen in UI and vice-versa

This is weird.
Index created via Dev-Console is not seen in the Python-client.
Index created via Python-client is not seen on Dev-Console.

Both ways I am able to write/Read data. But have to choose only one way
I am dealing with only one cluster. here. any help is appreciated.

Update:
Able to see the index:
https:/my-site/my_index_name?pretty
but the same is not seen on kibana console.?

My mistake.. I was writing to one cluster and reading from another.
