I have tried to store the xpack.monitoring.exporters.auth.password settings in the keystore but it is not getting picked up elasticsearch during start up. Is this because the keystore does not support this setting or is this setting referred to by a different name in the keystore like the secure_bind_password?
Is there any alternative we can use to store these credentials rather than displaying it as plain-text in the configuration file.
