Kibana Line Chart Visualization - Auto scaling down the interval

Hi,

I am trying to visualize Line chart.
I gave interval as daily and chose the value as last 5 years.
But Kibana gives the response by considering interval as Monthly by default.
Please let me know how kibana calculates the number of buckets and what is the default limit for the number of buckets that kibana is looking for?

I don't know the details of how it does it, but it tries to pick buckets that won't overload things. If you have per-minute buckets for a year, that is a lot of calculations that need to happen in the back end.
