Kibana Logstash Pipline Monitor

Hello,

I cant figure out why I cant monitor logstash pipelines as user Kibana. Very new to x-pack. X-Pack is installed with default config.

When I try to view logstash pipelines in Kibana monitoring, I see:

You do not have permission to manage Logstash pipelines
Please contact your administrator.

I cant figure out what I need to change. I know it is around roles.

Anyone encounter this and figure it out?

Hey Mike, you're right, you just need to add the logstash_admin role to your user. See https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/x-pack/current/built-in-roles.html for more info about roles.
