Kibana maps not filtering on date

Hey all,

Im using Kibana 7.4.2 and im trying to plot orders on a geo map. As you can see in below screenshot, the time for the records are set nicely in the @timestamp field:

The problem is that in the settings of my Grid aggregation layer there is no way to filter the data on which date field and so on.

When i toggle the date at this point, the same data (all data) will be displayed

I noticed that my Kibana pattern had no time filter field set
