Kibana Settings and Index pattern gone

Hi,
i have upgraded my Kibana (6.3 -> 6.5) instance right now and saw that all settings including index pattern and dashboard are gone.
What could be the reason.

Did you upgrade Elasticsearch as well?

No, but there was a bug with 6.5.0 and upgrades. Can you try moving to 6.5.1?
