Kibana Stack Monitoring

Hello,

I cannot monitor the health of a production cluster in the monitoring cluster (https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/7.4/monitoring-overview.html).
My doubt is if this is a free functionality or I have to subscribe to platinum subscritpion or similar.

Hi Aitor,

Using a monitoring cluster requires a Gold license. There is a note about this in the second paragraph here: https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/7.4/monitoring-production.html

You can request more information on a Gold license from https://elastic.co/subscriptions.

Hello,

Is there a minimum number of nodes requirement in the monitoring cluster? Or can be a 1 node cluster¿?
And, the gold suscription does it have to be activated in both clusters, only in the monitoring one or only in the production one? What's the minimum requeriment?
