Hi,
I'm looking for info on the plans to move Logstash to Java 11.
The only thread I see is under Elasticsearch
Support for Java 8 for commercial use will end in Jan 2019. For Java 9 and 10, it will end even before that because they are non-LTS versions. I read https://www.elastic.co/blog/elasticsearch-java-9-and-beyond but it does not talk about supporting Java 11. Do you have any plans of adding support for Java 11 before January 2019? And, which version of Elasticsearch would likely get that support?
The support matrix referenced shows support for Java 11 will be part of Elastic 6.5.x
Logstash shows no support for Java 9/10/11 - what are the plans for moving beyond Java 8 given the Jan 2019 support changes?
thanks,
Graham

We are working on adding support for Java 11. There is a meta issue with more details: https://github.com/elastic/logstash/issues/9345 .
