Logstash fails to start when passed -l option

Hi there,

I'm experiencing some issues getting logstash to start as a system service on CentOS 7.2. My configuration is correct and I can start logstash from the bin folder, passing my conf.d directory as -f, however when the -l parameter is passed (in this case -l /var/log/logstash/logstash.log) logstash silently fails with no error messages. I have checked the permissions of the log file and it's owned by logstash.

Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks

Never mind, restarting CentOS cured it!
