I was wondering if there was a maximum amount of HTTP connections for
ES. Some background, I have modified my limits.conf, etc, so I know
that is not the issue. But it seems, ES doesn't take any more
connections around 150 or so.
No, there isn't a limit to the number of open HTTP connections on
elasticsearch side.
