My company is using monitoring cluster and want to upgrade production cluster from 7.11 to 7.13 where monitoring cluster is 7.11.
The document says
" * Ideally the monitoring cluster and the production cluster run on the same Elastic Stack version. However, a monitoring cluster on the latest release of 7.x also works with production clusters that use the same major version. Monitoring clusters that use 7.x also work with production clusters that use the latest release of 6.x."
I am curious about the meaning of "latest release of 7.x" in the document below.
Does this mean latest minor version?
Will 7.11(monitoring cluster) and 7.13(production cluster) work properly?
