Multi-tenancy in Kibana

Multi-tenancy for Kibana, once again

I was already starting to build the cluster and buying the license for X-Pack but I noticed that Kibana is not multi-tenant and that is a huge deal breaker. What I need, is that the users can only see the indices they are allowed to see, defined in the roles. Currently, I can list all the indices even though I have read permission to only one. Applies on both Discover and Management pages. Also, I would need to disable most of Kibanas features (machine learning, dev tools, monitoring, manageme…

According to the above forum, ELK Stack should be multi-tenant from Version 6. But, I don't think it is yet. Could you explain me when this feature will be released and what's the current status of it ?

We are in a process of zeroing down on our Logging framework and this is our major requirement.

introducing multi-tenancy is a longer term effort, currently ongoing.

Thanks @thomasneirynck for the issue details. I understand it's a long term effort, do you have any idea when it's planned to release ? even a ball park figure should do.
