Need help to remove unwanted fields from index permanently

I am running with ELK cluster 5.6.16.

In my one of the index, there were around 2.3k fields detected. I have checked through kibana interface.

Is there any method to restrict the fields to detect garbage fields & allow selected fields only to index ?

I am looking for settings to configure permanently into elasticsearch config.
