It’s to do with Kibana, I am trying to import three NDJSON files for dashboard visualisation as this is for network intrusion task. But it comes up with a network error, it’s having issues fetching the resources, I’ve changed the permissions on the files so It can have access to the files and I’ve tried on uni wifi and home wifi but it doesn’t work. Elastic search and logstash are running fine as well as Kibana but I can’t import anything so if someone could give suggestions on what I could do it would be appreciated.
Thanks, @Darksin248 . Can you provide more infomation about the error you received? What was the error code and text of the error message you got?
Hello, it does not appear with an error number as this is on the Kibana Web Interface. I have an image of what appears when I try to import and it loads for a while afterwards
Hello,
Could you please confirm if you receive this error for all the 3 ndjson files?
I might try to do a F12 developer mode on Chrome in order to see what is the request/response while trying to import the ndjson file in order to understand the error. We can even check the Kibana logs if there is any more information which could be extracted in order to understand this issue.
Thanks!!
Hello,
I have done all 3 before in the past multiple times and all have came back with the same issue, the same network error.
Thank you very much!
Hello,
Can you export ndjson from current working environment & try to import the same again by renaming it, just want to be sure about the issue with file or network?
Thanks!!
I am sorry but I am a little confused with the first step? The NDJSON file is not imported into Kibana, but I can try with the name change.
Thanks, @Darksin248.
Do you have an example of what this file looks like?
