*Have you changed index pattern? I added filbeat-index-name- to the Settings section

Description of the problem including expected versus actual behavior. Please include screenshots (if relevant):

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Add filebeat-index-name-* to the Settings area of the Observability --> APM --> Services --> service name with the thought that this will read from the filebeat-index-name* index
  2. Set timeframe to check logs for the last 7 days, still not seeing specific logs from the filebeat-index-name*
  3. Go to the discover tab, use the data view filebeat-index-name* and search for the logs over the last 7 days. This locates the logs I'm looking for but they don't come up in the APM Logs tab, this is with superuser privileges.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Ryan

Hi Ryan,

This is driven by the logs index patterns.

Could you please try to set up your index pattern in Logs -> Settings -> Log sources?

Thanks,
Giorgos
