Prerequisites for ELK and Filebeat

Hi Team,

Just wanted to know the CPU and RAM Prerequisites for ELK and Filebeat, if we deploy this in Infra where we can captures log around 500 client node.

Please suggest the configuration for this.

That depends on what data you are collecting with Filebeat.

Basically we are collecting error logs, https access logs and few application logs that is running on the client machine.

Start with a 3 node cluster with 4-8GB of heap and you should be good.

Do you thing for more then 500 client machine it is enough?

That'll depend on how long you want to store the data for.

I would start there, see how much data you generate, and extrapolate from there.
