Query about the Logstash compatibility with ELK 6.7.2

Hello Team,

We are running the Elastic cluster with 6.7.2 version and we are also using logstash 6.7.2 to ship the application logs from our kubernetes containers to Elasticsearch. Our query is, is logstash 6.8.22 is compatible with our Elasticsearch 6.7.2 and whether you advise us to upgrade directly from logstash 6.7.2 to logstash 6.8.22 or are there any complications in migrating the same directly?

6.7 is EOL and no longer supported. Please upgrade.
