REGION MAP VISUALIZATION DOES NOT LOADING INITIALLY

The region map does not load fully in the initial view. Initially, the region map dashboard is shown grey without loading any data in it as shown in the image below:

Once page is reloaded or refresh button is clicked or zoom in/zoom out is clicked or the map is moved( any action on the page), it loads the data.

In this case, Kibana is a display on Iframe.

The issue is that the Kibana is not able to load region map in the first attempt.

Please let know your inputs on this and when this will be fixed.

Can you open your browser's dev tools (console) and see if there is anything relevant?

Region map visualization was deprecated in 7.10 (released 11 November 2020) and removed from Kibana in 8.0 (released 10 February 2022). Region map visualization has been replaced by Maps. You can follow the instructions at add a choropleth layer to add region map layers to your map.
