Saved queries have gone missing in Kibana

We recently lost all of our indexes in Elastic (I accidentally deleted them) and am in the process of rebuilding them but a developer on my team came up to me this morning and informed me that all of the queries that he had written in Kibana are now gone.

My question / concern is did all of our indexes getting deleted also delete our saved queries?

I showed him how to export his object definitions in the Management >> Saved Objects section of Kibana

Hey @byoungman, if you deleted all indices in Elasticsearch, you'll have deleted all of the Saved Searches as well. Kibana stores all of it's Saved Objects in the .kibana index in Elasticsearch.
